I actually enjoy that part of my recent move...drive from MN to CO or UT and wheel, drive home. I didn't run what they did, but have put it through some pretty stout runs, and made it home over 3k miles round trip.

Gives you a bit of a different perspective when you see what is in front of you and how you're going to tackle it, knowing full well you need to get home in it, too
