i would LOVE to have a TIG finally ... one day, after the shop is built.
visible welds i try to take more care in, but exhaust will all get wrapped ... i don't bother to change to a smaller wire and just let it eat. i also just fill some gaps vs taking the extra 20min to REALLY fine tune some exhaust pipe fits
