Kinda neat, saw it on FB this morning....almost a bit Bronco'ish Come'on, Lego

I'll pass...I don't need toys like that, I have parts to buy for the real deal

It looks like a smaller kit than the FJ, which is at Costco for $160 currently. Usually Lego kit prices come down to around 10 cents per piece. We buy a lot of lego's at our house

665 piece kit, will probably start out $70ish and they'll adjust from there.

It would be cooler if it was remote controlled, we have a few that you use their app on your phone to drive them around the house.

LOL, has the per piece price down pat, holy hell, you must buy a lot of them. I used to buy them for my son, but he showed no interest so most just sat around unused, or put together once, destroyed and never touched again. Kinda made me sad...but I'm over it now

There is a post on the local marketplace for a big batch, big dollars...I'll have to find it cuz I'm curious if you'd think it was a good deal for someone like yourself. Of course, the comments on it were insane, people on for sale threads are just

Edit: $10 per pound right here

Should be relatively easy to make an RC one with the robotic stuff LEGO has. Or adapt the RC Technic stuff from another kit.

Yeah, we have a lot of sets. Mostly the smaller ones, but a few of the bigger expensive sets. Most of them are car sets, either Speed Champions or the technic car sets.

My kids will sit for hours following the instructions to build the model.

The rule of thumb for unsorted Lego is between 6$ and 12$ per pound. If the bricks are sorted by color or include lots of desirable pieces, they are worth more. The value of Lego Minifigures varies greatly.
damn!

Damn, dude...that's legit I guess. Funny, cuz the comments from folks are all just slamming the guy.

Oh, it's even better when you see sports cards, and better yet when you see Pokemon cards listed for absurd money

It's like anything else, for instance, my JKUR w/ 1 tons and a Hemi...one crowd laughs at the post, others comment on the build and parts used...there's always the once crowd that goes off uneducated about what it is they are looking at, be it sports cards, Legos or Jeeps...it's the damn interwebs

Scroll on, scroll on (eighteen wheeler)

My 12 year old just bought the UCS Millennium Falcon after selling THREE Pokemon cards. The Legos are more expensive than they should be, but what some folks will pay for perceived rare Pokemon cards is just stupid. $300+ for a printed card, WTF? We will take it though.

I have enough Jeep shyt around my place, but that might be a fun way to sit around and waste some time. That said, it might have to be done w/ a whiskey and a gummie

I blew over $50 in quarters on NBA Jams in the student union one rainy weekend 25 years ago...

At least I'd have something to show for my $50 25 years later with this thing.

There is a whole lego store by me (not lego brand store) where you can go get missing parts for your lego kits and sell and buy used lego stuff. The nerd I used to work with used to go there all the time.

My twin nephews told me about that place. They are serious LEGO nerds, but cool at the same time.

Legos are cool, but I moved on to collecting parts to make my own version of LEGO jeeps. It may have been a disservice by my parents to buy me legos so I hoarded the LEGO bits to make random crap. Since I now do the same with vehicles and parts.
