2000 jeep xj 3,500 obo

Jeep is up for sale.... Only because I have 3 vehicles now (none of them are trucks) so I am ditching the jeep to fund a truck purchase. As much as it saddens me to see it go, there will always be other jeeps for me to buy later on. 139k as far as mods go- 4.5" pro comp lift, 35"bfg mud terrains on crager soft 8's, nates 4x4 rear bumper, custom front bumper, clear corner lenses, cold air intake, thrush exhaust, pioneer cd player, wired for fog lights (none currently mounted though), tinted windows, bushwackers (thanks to jeepin), power everything, just inspected, no issues runs like any lifted jeep out there (no death wobble though)

I am asking more on CList (4,500 OBO) I purposely priced it higher there due to dreamers. this is a daily driver/weekend wheeler/camping jeep of mine, goes down the road great, tows my little 5x8 trailer great even with the atvs on it.Make me an offer I'd like some cash in my hand for some sort of down payment on a truck. Well I threw the jeep up on here hoping to get some offers but that didnt happen so I found a couple locals (or should I say they found me) and have trucks that they want to trade me... What are your thoughts? Both of these guys are looking to do straight trades.

First up 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 ext. cab 4wd 5.9 auto trans slt power everything no rust 92,000 miles on it:

The second is a newer truck its a 2000 ford f150 2wd v8 5.4. 126k Has a performance chip installed to boost fuel mileage & power. Also has a performance exhaust that dumps in front of passenger side tire. All set up for towing has hitch & electric breaks. Power everything, cd player. Interior in great condition no rips or tears. Tinted all the way around:

not really a fan of 2wd trucks but atleast its setup for towing and has electric brakes... my biggest requirements is I want extended cab... i like how the dodge has a full bench seat unsure if the ford has a small jumpseat or the same thing...

I'd trade for the dodge. It is 3/4 ton and a lot more practical than the jeep. You can throw a **** load of stuff in the bed, it has EXT cab for the dog, and it is leather and power everything. It looks like you could clean it up nice!

While I am not a fan of the 5.9 as far as power:fuel consumption goes, but you get what you can give, and I think that is a decent trade for the XJ, the truck has low miles too.

I would drive the dodge and feel how the tranny feels and the steering, make sure everything works, 4hi, 4lo, etc.

Stay away from that 2wd ford, you live in VT

a buddy of mine had a ford almost identical to that I one..but his had the 4.6 in it. and when they say 2wd they really mean one. talk about a one wheel peel machine. I will say this though..he drove the dog piss out of it for several years and never put more than a few hundred $$ into it. I just can't imagine having a truck..or any vehicle that isn't a sports car that isn't 4wd. but hey..maybe that's just a NC thing. hahah. nice bushwhackers btw. looks like they cleaned up nicely.

no my old one was manual this is an autotragic no rust it has been rino lined up to the kicker panel it had small surface rust forming but it was taken care of.

never heard back from the guy with that original dodge i posted but another guy emailed me with this dodge same thing pretty much but its a 99 and wants to meet up to compare rigs... he said it needs axle u joints thats it.... its only got 112,000 on it... it appears there has been rust repair on bottom of doors like my xj.... and i see some forming on top of the bed i think, rear wheel well, and some on the back of front fender... not very clean, but not terrible either... what are your thoughts? he wants a straight trade:

I could be jumping the gun but this guy said he wanted to meet tonight and do the trade but now hes not returning my texts or my call (i left a voicemail)... the funny thing is he emailed me and wanted my jeep..... I guess I will wait a couple more hours but not counting on this trade either. wah wahhhhhhnghh
