Default FOR SALE 1998 XJ Long Arms on 35's

1998 Cherokee XJ

224k miles on the odo
PO said engine was rebuilt on 2011 - don't know miles
PO said transmission was rebuilt 2-3 years ago - don't know miles
BDS long arm lift kit (google says this was ~$2800 new)
35" BFG KM2 tires on nice chrome wheels
Rollbar
Sliders
Its a project that just needs finished

The Good:
It runs and drives down the road
Been in CO its whole life - no rust (other than some surface stuff from sitting)
Its 90% of the way there to a nice wheeling rig

The Bad:
It was never re-geared - still running factory 3.55's
Steering should be upgraded
Needs some minor cleanup...some bumps from offroading...a little rough around the edges - example: the front fender trim - PO didn't seem to know cut and fold was only for the rear
Typical leaks - nothing excessive

I'll be honest - I bought this because I was drunk and it was close. I have too many projects going at the moment and I want to finish the MJ. Since craigslist is charging $ now to list I figured I would see if anybody wants it here first. I am pretty near Denver.

For not much more than Cobound spent on tires you could re-live your jeepin glory days with this running driving XJ with long arms on 35's. Special price of $3000 for

PM me if you want more pics...

Same, I'd snag that up in a heartbeat if you were close by.

Man...this is tempting. Is it safe to assume that rust is minimal being a CO XJ?

Yeah no real rust just some surface stuff from sitting around. It's a solid Jeep just needs some final touches. Delivery might not be out of the question for the right price...

Hmmmm. Anything wrong with it that you wouldn't drive it from CO to MN?

No, I think it would make it - but keep in mind I have driven it a total of maybe 5 miles. I would give it a good once over for you though before you left though. It wouldn't be the most comfortable ride but you would have a cool story to tell
