Holley Sniper EFI 2300
I know from some of you that the 4 barrel version of the Sniiper EFI was too much for an AMC 258, any opinions on the new 2 barrel version?

My sniper worked great for about 8000 miles, then had 2 separate problems with the pcm. Seems to be hit and miss with them. I ended up selling it when I got it back from Holley under warranty. If you are on Facebook, there is pretty good Holley sniper owners group and Holley will comment as well. I haven't seen too many people running the 2 barrel yet. Or atleast they aren't posting about it.

why pay all that money for an aftermarket when you can just bolt on a stock EFI that is bullet proof from the junk yard? if you use the 97-99 ECM to swap on a 4.2L, with head, will be huge gains and can be custom tuned for cam/stroker.

I won't argue that the factory stuff is better. But the sniper is about 1000 times easier install and you can tune it yourself.

I have zero experience either way. All I know is what I've read.
