Yeah, we're on the same page...hell, once I full circle clipped my D30 on my XJ I never had a problem again w/ the shafts on 35s...and the XJ diff was plenty strong. Even rolled it a few times!

I have heard the JKs are weaker.

My buddy runs 37s on his D44s w/ a 6.4L Hemi, alloys, and they've held up. The shafts have twisted, but the tubes have been fine. But he's not jumping it either

Well I'm going to pick up a set tonight. D30/44 3.73s and a trac loc in the back. I guess we will see how they fit.

just please before install do a gusset kit ... some companies like to sleeve the JK axles inside, some do trusses outside, they ALL sell knuckle gussets. just get the stuff from your favorite shop and game on.

also, huge second on the full circle clips ... or weld the caps. but you knew this.

Dudes I am NOT going to be wheeling this thing. It's a pavement pounder with maybe a little camping duty.

"a little camping duty" is very relative to real wheelers. you won't notice it til you've trashed a $$ set of tires and blamed everything else first. the rest i agree with, it'll be fine.

You have too many vehicles. I thought we were talking about the "other" full size jeep you have...
