Fan, temperature, and vent controls kaput
About a month or so ago, without warning-all the selector knobs for fan speed, temperature, and vent output selectors stopped functioning. For the longest time, the slowest fan speed (1), was not working, but everything else was. Ever since everything stopped, the vent selector just turns without the "click" between the positions. All the fuses are good, and I never smelled anything that would alert me to any electrical shorts or components melting. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rock auto has new ones for decent prices, just did one in my dad's. however we also had to buy a replacement connector from MOPAR and pig-tale to solder in cause one of the connectors melted to the back of that switch body.

No smoke. I replaced the resistor. Nothing...Next I'll look at the control knobs, but I find hard to believe that all of them would stop working at the same time.

have you replaced control panel yet? I'd start there. The resistor is only applicable when your fan only works on the highest speed setting. Since all the controls crapped out, I'd replace that unit.

So I'd assume you have power to the blower motor and no ground? I'd check g202 ground and c3 ground into the control panel. All 3 switches and blower motor ground on same wire.
