Default Blue 2001 Limited Project:

So I picked this up in December, its a super clean, super low mileage XJ...thats been wrecked and the drivetrain is missing. So I picked it up cheap, but its got a clean title, almost every option available in an XJ, and its the last year. $$$$$ on BAT if its clean and original like.

So I also picked up a blue parts jeep that has a few body parts that I need to bolt on, plus a few misc things I can use and keep around. I will use the blue pass fender, the front pass door, the driver rear door, and the blue fender support.

Now I still needed a few more blue body parts, and I needed a good low mileage engine to go with it, so I picked up this 100k mile 2wd XJ that was missing a title.

The two drivers doors have been replaced and repainted, though they didnt paint the door jambs.

So two different parts jeeps will combined to make one really nice low mileage 2001 XJ.

ok, wait ... i think we need a "Sam's XJ tracking thread" with only a running tally of how many you have, the plan for each, and what ultimately happened to them. but keep the build thread for each one separate or we'll all be SCREWED keeping them straight.

i <3 XJ's, please continue.

Yeah, it's completely, and utterly, out of control...love me some XJs, too - do continue
