The local dealer to me had a Rebel that made me weak in the knees. Red, RamBoxes, Hemi, fully loaded. If I didn't know the Rebel 12 with the big screen was going to be available soon I'd have traded in that day.

Just checked the dealer. That one is gone. But they have a new one listed as incoming.... and they say it has the Rebel 12 package...

ooh, yes, the new Rebel in red looks sooo good.

After seeing their new Multipurpose Tailgate though, I'm glad we haven't traded up yet, lol. I think that'll definitely be on our next truck.

$50k - ugh!

Well, I'm not all about the Rambox cuz I like the ability to have a topper, so I'd save there...but I can have only one, so we'll see what the Gladiator does to my pants.

You've recently said you haven't found the topper as useful as expected... You may find the RamBox actually fits your needs better.

Nope, not exactly...I still find it more useful than those boxes.

What exactly are you storing in yours, or using them for otherwise?

I've got each box about half full. I have a complete tool set in one side, and a few ball hitches, straps and chains in the other. I then have room for other things I can store in there for an trip that is sealed away. The bed then has the trifold cover (mostly water tight), with the adjustable divider in it. Usually I leave the divider set about as far back as I can reach so anything I put in the bed didn't end up at the front of the bed at the first stop. Still leaves me plenty of room to store crap, and I can always remove the divider for bigger loads.

I can't justify the extra cost and decreased gas mileage. My truck is a street queen anyways...

Not sure on the new one, but the last style Power Wagon was about as capable as the 1/2 ton's in terms of payload and towing. All the cost and poor mileage of a 3/4 ton with the poor payload/towing of a half ton. But, hey, it has a winch nobody will ever use.

(Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have one!)

I'm OK w/ that grill, but would have preferred they rounded it rather than made it look like a snout

Not as bad, or even in the same class, as the new Chevy tho

The Chevy one is the worst grille I have ever seen. I know we talked about it before, but damn, someone better get fired over that. At least the GMC HD one is better.

I have purposely mounted everything I can very low. Air tank, extra ballmount, air compressor, air tank, air tank hose, tool box, etc are all mounted at frame height. If I throw the same weight in the bed of the truck (say, two bags of water softener salt) it makes a huge performance "feel" difference. I was wondering if it made the same or more difference if the weight was high and to the outside.
I can't say I notice a difference but the heavy parts, the tools and hitches, sit in the front of each wheel hump and mostly sit level with the top. So the weight isn't much higher then in any other circumstance. The straps, first aid kit, paper towels and **** that sit above that weight nothing.
