I got the standard length one from JB conversions. When I called, they said they didn't stock 1330 joints, which I need to run a bronco rear sahft.

Wheres the best place to buy a 1330 output yokethat would fit my SYE?

I'm not sure about the yoke, but how much is your Bronco shaft costing, and where are you getting it from?

Are you looking for 1330 joints or yoke? I got my 1330 yoke from JB coversions and the 1330 joint from CATCO.

I'm looking for a 1330 yoke (that will fit the standard HD SYE for a 231).

I ran into that problem with the explorer driveshaft that I used in my xj. Go to autozone and get one of their house brand (PDQ) ujoints. PN 1-0134. It mates a 1310 pinion yoke to a 1330 driveshaft. One side is wider than the other. Be sure and buy 2 because you probably won't find a replacement just anywhere.

Um...

I wrote them an email and asked them about it, they said they'd include a 1330 yoke for an additional $25.

She probably didn't know what you were talking about, it's a standard Dana/Spicer end yoke.

Here's the email exchange I had:

Quote:

I'm assuming the fixed yoke on the NP231J HD SYE kit fits the standard 1310 u-joint size...is there any way to install a 1330 yoke on the new shaft? I'm considering running a Ford Bronco rear driveshaft in my XJ just to upgrade the drivetrain strength a little bit overall, and I'd rather not have to use conversion u-joints if possible.

Thanks! Hope to hear from you.

Do they ship? Do they pull it themselves? If not, would you be interested in pulling one at some point for a modest fee?

Yeah, that's about average for around here, unless you're me.

No they don't pull it, it's called "Harry's U-pull-it". But I'm pretty sure we can arrange one for ya.

I'm very tempted to work something out. I'll have to price everything else out first and see what my total bill might come to.

Do you know how long the shaft is? I'd probably have to get mine cut (or lengthened) to about 21.5 inches.

It's probably about 10 inches longer than that, maybe a little more.
