I want to try and stuff 33x9.50 tire with 4" backspacing under my XJ with a 2" budget boost and almost non-existant fenders. Has anyone else done it?

What about a 32" tire with 4" backspacing with a 2" lift and cut fenders?

Pics would be helpful.

Im sure you could do it if you cut the crap out of the fenders, and alot of the sheetmetal...i know i was running 32's on 3.75 backspacing with a 4.5 inch lift and still had to cut my fenders...

I have 3.5 bs and 36s on 4 inches... You'd prolly need about the same amount of trimming

I run 31" rubi wheels and MT/R's on stock up country springs on my 01 limited, i barely rub at full stuff on the top of the inner fender, but i don't wheel it much either....i'd bump stop it and i think you'll be fine.

Older XJ's seem to have less fitment issues. I can easily fit 31's on mine (87), but I want more.

If I get a 32x11.50, i think I would have problems even with a 4" backspacing. So I really want to stay lower than 10.50" wide.

Most have lifts and non-bent unibodies...

I'm going to lose alot of flex when the tires bottom out and it won't help. I took a rough measurement and 33's will bottom out way too soon.
