Question

Is it possible to put a 5.9 Liter engine in a 1995 Jeep Grand Jeep Cherokee? I know a 5.2L came stock. At a minimum, I will need to swap the engine and trans how about the transfer case? The car currently has a 4.0L.

yer gonna need engine/trans/wiring harnes/computer and some other doodads.

transfercase will be fine, what do you have now? you may need to shorten/lengthen driveshafts too.

it's not an easy swap, but by far not the hardest. I wouldn't attempt it if you don't have any mechanical skills, but if they are moderate you should be able to get it work. Hopefully you have a nice place to work too.

Good luck if you do attempt it, and don't forget to take lots of pictures and do a write up. i'm sure a lot of people would be interested in it.

oh, and by the way, welcome!
