The Rocky Mountain Edition Wrangler comes standard with the 4.0L engine, 5-sp manual transmission, D44 rear axle, 30" tires, diamond plate rocker guards from the Rubicon, fog lights, full-size spare tire on matching rim, and painted Graphite fender flares. It also has a special painted brushed aluminum center console bezel, which looks borrowed from the Tomb Raider Edition TJ. It also comes with the AM/FM/CD player and overhead speaker pods.
The Rocky Mountain Edition Liberty comes standard with the 3.7L V6, 5-speed manual transmission (according to the specs), Command-Trac fourwheel drive, power sunroof, painted Graphite front bumper and door mouldings, body-color flares, tinted windows, fog lamps, and cruise control. Here's where things get interesting (or strange) though... Jeep must have been in a hurry to get the info about the Rocky Mountain Editions up on their website because there's a number of errors on their site regarding these models. According to the specs at the time of this article, the Rocky Mountain Edition Grand Cherokee supposedly comes with the 4.0L motor and a four-speed manual transmission. A manual transmission hasn't been offered in a Grand Cherokee since 1995, and Jeep doesn't even have a four-speed manual tranny. So one can only assume they meant to say it's got the four-speed automatic transmission. There's also conflicting information about the rims, because in one place it states the WJ will have 16" rims, and in another that it will have 17's. The rims in the photo are the 17's though, so that's what I'm guessing it really comes with.
Like the Rocky Mountain Edition Liberty, the Rocky Mountain Edition Grand Cherokee also comes standard with a power sunroof, painted Graphite bumpers and side cladding, fog lights, and body-color flares (not that the WJ really has "flares" though...). Jeep's website also states that it has a "brushed aluminum intrument panel", but more than likely it's just plastic painted to look like brushed aluminum like the TJ's center console bezel. The Grand will also have the Selec-Trac full-time four-wheel drive system. All the Rocky Mountain Edition Jeeps will have exclusive Rocky Mountain Edition decals of course, and all come with special two-tone taupe and dark slate grey cloth seats with the Jeep logo embroidered at the top.
